Showers & thunderstorms are scattering across NSW, Qld & the NT in a broad trough, some intense in Qld & the NT. A few storms are also occurring in the northwest tropics in a heat trough. A high is clearing WA's south & is keeping much of SA, Tas, Vic, southern NSW & the ACT dry.

A trough will bring showers and storms to Qld, the NT & northeast WA, potentially heavy in Qld. A second trough and front will trigger showers and storms over southern WA. A high will send showery easterly winds over NSW, while keeping Tas and parts of Vic dry.
